Dish Network Offers Sharp HDTV Discounts [UPDATED]

EchoStar’s DISH Network is offering its customers a considerable discount on Sharp AQUOS LCD HDTVs, according to the satellite TV company on Thursday.

Through January 31, 2008, both current and qualifying new Dish Network customers may receive up to a US$800 discount on some of Sharp’s most popular LCD HDTVs. These displays range from 26 inches to 65 inches with 1080p resolution while supplies last. The offer also includes free delivery in qualifying areas of the U.S.

"Savvy consumers know DISH Network offers the best value in entertainment, and this exciting promotion complements the unparalleled viewing experience our customers already enjoy," said Dish network chief marketing officer Jessica Insalaco. "Combined with our industry-leading HD programming and DVRs, these attractive discounts provide our customers with the perfect opportunity to bring the HD viewing experience to every room in the home, just in time for football season and fall TV premieres."

DISH Network supplied additional information to iPO on specific savings. Sample savings include: US$860 on a 52-inch, $660 on 46-inch, and $440 on a 42-inch. All systems include an additional US$310 savings with a free 3-year extended warranty.

Echostar’s DISH Network, which is the major satellite TV competitor to DirecTV, is headquartered in Denver, CO. For more information, see the Dish Network special offer page or call 1-888-825-2557.
