Klipsch to Ship Updated, Black iGroove iPod Speakers in June

Klipsch announced Tuesday an update to its iGroove iPod (and other digital media device) speaker solution. The iGroove HG offers the same form factor as the original iGroove, but in a high-gloss black finish. It features a two-way speaker system with dual 2.5" woofers, crossovers, and dual 1" MicroTractrix Horn-loaded tweeters.

The unit will dock with all Dockable iPod units (3rd and 4th generation iPods) for both audio out and charging functions. It also supports any digital media device with an audio-out or headphone jacks (miniplugs).
The system comes with special iPod mini and nano adaptors, and Apple's iPod shuffle may also be connected to the iGroove via the included J-cup adaptor.
iGroove HG will ship in June and is priced at US$249.99. The company has not yet added information about the HG to its Web site. You can, however, find information on the current, silver iGroove.
