Sony BMG to ‘Leak’ Albums to Motorola’s iRadio

J/Arista Records, which is part of Sony BMG, on Tuesday announced that it will "leak" albums for play on Motorola’s iRadio service before their official release date. Calling it "a safe and innovative service for content distribution," the two firms said that an iRadio channel will be dedicated to that purpose.
The program started on Monday with the "leak" of J Records’ The Makings of Me, from Monica, the day before its official Tuesday release. Artists to be featured in future "leaks" will be announced at a later date.
