Star Wars: Clone Wars Cartoons Come to iTunes Music Store
Wednesday, May 24th, 2006 at 3:00 PM - by Brad Cook
The iTunes Music Store on Thursday announced the addition of the 20 chapters in Cartoon Network's animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars Volume 1, with Volume 2 to be available next month. The episodes are US$1.99 each, with the entire Volume 1 run available for $10.99.
Star Wars: Clone Wars takes place after the events of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones but before Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, following Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu and the other Jedi Knights as they fight in the Clone Wars. Volume 2 leads right up to the events seen at the beginning of Episode III, showing the kidnapping of Chancellor Palpatine and the beginning of a massive space battle in orbit around the planet Coruscant.
Star Wars: Clone Wars Volume 1 was not yet available on the iTunes Music Store as iPodObserver.com posted this article, but it should come online sometime on Thursday.
