Sunday, July 27th, 2008 at 4:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Downloading applications for the iPhone and iPod touch from Apples App Store means that eventually youll be faced with version updates. iTunes isnt the only resource for downloading those updates. Your iPhone or iPod touch can handle the job, too, and its easy to do.
The iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPod touch will let you know when third party application updates are available, and it will also show how many updates are waiting for you. Look for the badge on the App Store icon to see how many updates are ready to go.
