Sonoma Wire Works announced Friday the release of InstantDrummer: Heartbreaker. This iPhone app is a drum machine that allows you to arrange and customize drum loops for you to play along to. The drum loops on InstantDrummer: Heartbreaker were recorded by Jason McGerr, the drummer for Death Cab for Cutie.
Features (as provided by Sonoma Wire Works):
- Adjustable Tempo - Heartbreaker was originally recorded at 72 BPM, and still sounds great above 150 BPM
- Part Sequencer for building and arranging drum tracks for InstantDrummer songs
- Adjustable Gain, Ambience, Intensity and Variation for each InstantDrummer Song Part
- Master FX: Freakenzy (EQ) and The Slammer (Compressor) Effects include a 4 band parametric EQ and a stereo linked compressor with Threshold, Attack, & Release
- 130 MB of pop-rock drum recordings by Jason McGerr
- 11 Song Parts (including Basic Rock, Bigger Rock, Ride, Ride-on, Sparse to Meaty, Kick and Hat, Crashes, Lead-ins and Endings)
- 43 Loops with fills on the last bar of a section
- WiFi Sync InstantDrummer songs to a computer with or without a router
