How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
- U2
U2's latest entry is a mostly underwhelming collection of songs that does very little to sound any different from its equally pedestrian predecessor, 2000's "All That You Can't Leave Behind." While

Oddly enough, Playing The Angel is a return to form for Depeche Mode, even though it may well be argued that they never truly deviated from their roots in their more recent offerings. In the

Apple Stores Sell Out of iPhone
Monday, July 2nd, 2007 at 4:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Apple may have been able to meet iPhone demand for the June 29 release, but many of the companys retail locations are starting to sell out only four days after the launch. As many as 95 of Apples 164 U.S. stores were sold out by Monday night, according to Bloomberg.
Apple Store locations in Hawaii, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Utah and Washington were completely sold out. Other states including Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and several others still had iPhones available at some locations.
iPhone purchases made from the companys online store are shipping in 2-4 weeks, which may mean that Apple was planning its first major stock replenishment for two weeks after the initial launch.
Since Apple has not revealed how many iPhone units were distributed to stores, its difficult to say if the shortage is a result of consumer demand, limited production, or a combination of both. Based on overall consumer reaction, however, demand for the combination iPod and smartphone is beginning to tax the available supply.
