Aquaminds Announces iPhone Aware Web Notebooks

In his AquaMinds Blog, Scott Love announced a free update to NoteTaker and Noteshare that allows the creation of iPhone aware Web Notebooks. One showcased application of this a public domain version of Jules Verne’s novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Mr. Love wrote, "Even before we launched AquaMinds, we’ve always been passionate about digital books especially classic works that are readily available without any special copyright considerations. When we introduced NoteTaker and later NoteShare, we included a one-step, easy to use web publishing command called Create Web Notebook that enables instant publishing of your notebooks as standalone, interactive web sites."

As a result, registered users of NoteTaker and NoteShare can download a free update that enables iPhone awareness. "Web notebooks are still universally viewable from any browser on any platform but they are even more interactive (touch UI) when viewed from an iPhone or iPod Touch," Mr. Love noted.

For a demonstation, Mr. Love invited iPhone customers to see for themselves with a Web notebook/novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
