FreeLoader 8.0 Offers Portable Solar Charging for iPods, iPhone, More (for UK)

Solar Technology International (STI) introduced FreeLoader 8.0 on Friday, a portable solar power charging solution for Apple’s iPod, iPhone, and a host of other mobile devices. FreeLoader 8.0 is not just a solar charger, it is also a portable power source with an internal battery that can charge your device and its own battery at the same time.

The company said that FreeLoader 8.0 can charge an iPod for up to 18 hours from just the internal battery, and that’s without additional charing on the go. The device comes with 11 adaptors that cover iPods, iPhones, and several mobile phone models. Additional adapters for even more devices are avilable.

The bad news for our U.S. readers is that STI ships only to the UK. FreeLoader 8.0 is priced at £29.99 (US$59.62), and is available in pink and silver.
