Hundreds of new shows have been added to the Joost program list, according to the JoostTeam on Tuesday. New additions include Rhino Records, Snowvision, and Travelistic.
The recent additions bring the number of Joost channels to 92 and a total of 3281 TV shows.
The latest additions include Rhino Records which includes pop culture videos, Snowvision, the leading channel for snowboarding culture and content, and Travelistic, a channel devoted to informational and experience-driven shows appealing to the travel community.
Currently Joost is at beta 0.9.4 and 0.9.5 is on the way. In addition, Joost recently announced that the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has formally assigned Joost UDP and TCP ports 4166. This will allow Joost to cease using the provisional, unregistered ports 33333 (UDP) and 5223 (TCP).
