Rapid Repair Posts Disassembly Pics of Newest iPods

Rapid Repair, a company that offers repair services for iPods, has posted tear down photos of the iPod nano 4G, the iPod classic 2G, and the iPod touch 2G.

"It’s that time of year again, back to school. Students from all over the country are packing their bags and heading back to campus. The fast paced, messy college lifestyle can often be fatal for iPhones and iPods. Rapid Repair receives hundreds of water damaged iPods and iPhones every semester," according to the owner Aaron Vronko.

For most customers with a new iPod under warranty, they’ll never see the insides of their new iPod. However, Rapid Repair may at some point in the life of the device. For the curious, Rapid Repair has posted tear down photos as they themselves have learned what’s inside these new iPods.

Rapid Repair says that 85 percent of the iPods sent in are fixed for less than US$90.00. Their Website describes the process to kick off a diagnostic and repair. Data recovery services, hard drive and battery upgrades, and scratch repair are also offered.

Repair services are also offered for Apple iPhones.
