Digital Chocolate Brings Three More Games to the App Store

Prolific iPhone publisher Digital Chocolate on Friday launched three more iPhone games at the App Store: Crazy Penguin Catapult 2, California Gold Rush, and 3D Rollercoaster Rush. Free versions of all three, which offer limited gameplay, are also available.
Crazy Penguin Catapult 2 (US$2.99) features 50 new levels and a variety of power-ups that help the penguins fight off invading polar bears. Players use a catapult to hurl penguins at the bears, flicking their device to launch the flightless birds skyward. New power-ups include Grenade Penguin and Houdini Penguin.

In California Gold Rush ($2.99), players explore up to 30 mines with a colorful cast of characters, uncovering hidden artifacts and digging up as much gold as possible while avoiding cave-ins, bats, and other dangers. They can exchange their profits at the general store for items that help their digging, such as gold maps and a variety of explosives.

3D Rollercoaster Rush ($4.99) expands on the original Rollercoaster Rush with 3D views of the action, which includes 40 different tracks. Each track has a Challenge Race Mode where players go up against the game designer's best time. In Career Mode, they play all the tracks in a Wild West theme park.
