Freeverse has announced that it will launch the first NBA-branded game on the App Store when the 2009 NBA playoffs tip off April 18. While the company hasn't released many specific details yet, it did say that dozens of players from all 30 NBA teams will be featured in a variety of style events and challenges. Players will be able to compete against the computer or a friend.
It will be the latest addition to Freeverse's Flick Sports line, which currently includes Flick Fishing and Flick Bowling. Flick Baseball is also in development.
