Monday, August 10th, 2009 at 5:54 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
FutureTap announced Monday the release of Where To? 2.0, an update to the global points-of-interest finder for the iPhone. The update adds iPhone OS 3.0 features such as the ability to visit found businesses' Web sites and make phone calls from within the app.
The update also adds the ability to add a destination to your contacts, share it via e-mail of SMS, or simply export it to the iPhone's clipboard.
We should note that version 2.0 is a paid upgrade from earlier version. The app is priced at US$2.99, while it is being introduced for $.99 until August 23rd. FutureTap purchased Where To? from its original developers in December of 2008.
