Oddly enough, Playing The Angel is a return to form for Depeche Mode, even though it may well be argued that they never truly deviated from their roots in their more recent offerings. In the

- This is Weather Reports quintessential line-up captured live. Jaco Pastorious and Peter Erskine join Wayne Shorter and, of course, Joe Zawinul to create this masterpiece.

- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Man Sends Naughty Pics to Mistress, Blames iPhone
Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at 3:00 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
![]() Our dramatization of Susan discovering the problem |
What do you do when your wife asks you what the heck these images of you doing naughty things are doing in your iPhones "Sent" outgoing mailbox? If youre one man, you blame the event on an iPhone glitch that randomly takes images from your camera roll and puts them in your "Sent" mailbox without actually sending them.
At least thats what a woman posting as "Susan042764" on Apples support boards said he told her. The problems started when she, suspecting her husband of infidelity, went rifling through her husbands iPhone. There she found a "raunchy picture" her hubby had taken of himself attached to a sent e-mail addressed to another woman.
"When I approached him about this," she posted, "he admitted that he took the picture but says that he never sent it to anyone. He claims that he went to the Genius Bar at the local Apple store and they told him that it is an i-phone [sic] glitch: that photos sometimes automatically attach themselves to an e-mail address and appear in the sent folder, even though no e-mail was ever sent."
The point of her post was to try and find out if her husbands answer was true, and she turned to Apples support community for help, adding, "The future of my marriage depends on this answer!"
As most of our readers will guess, she was told in no-uncertain terms that there is no such known "glitch" with the iPhone, with many helpfully adding their opinion that she was being lied to and cheated on.
"Images dont automatically attach to e-mails," three-star rated poster Tamara posted in response, while Alan Simpson noted that, "I have never heard of such a glitch." Our favorite response from Cuttthro, who said, "Its a glitch, but [it] only happens if the pic is sufficiently raunchy."
Though many jumped on the notion that Susans husband was up to no good, a first (and only) time poster named Judgement said that hed experienced the same problem.
"This has definitely happened to me a couple times, too" he said. "At first I thought it was just accidental with the phone being in my pocket and just jumping around, but since the first two times I have made sure I have locked it. I dont really know how to fix it but its starting to worry me. My phone has already sent pictures to the girl I like, my grandmother as well as a buddy of mine. Thankfully none of them have been too ranchy [sic]."
We suspect that Judgement either knows (or is) Susans husband, or as one poster said, is planning on using this same excuse should the need arise.
Be that as it may, Susan later posted her thanks to the Apple community, and said that her attorney was already working on the divorce paperwork.
