UK-based developer ustwo announced Friday the release of the full version of Steppin for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. The game challenges the player to navigate through five levels (skip across lilies in 'Pond', hop across icebergs in 'Ice', navigate a volcanic eruption in 'Lava', go back to the playground in 'Hopscotch' and traverse a cliff-face in 'Climbin') with the purpose of getting through each level as quickly as possible.
For players looking to refine their score or tactics used through a level, simply shake the iPhone to start over again or shake it again to go back to the main menu.Steppin also features a new score board system that records the player's personal best time, player of the week, player of the day and best ever player.
The game retails for $0.99 on the App Store and requires iPhone OS 2.1 or later to install and run.
