    • On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

I downloaded a several apps over the last few hours, one shortly before they announced the goal. With a lot of luck I may be the winner.

I bought System Activity Monitor which is similar to the Activity Monitor in OSX, but also shows battery life in percentage.

SonicScan, a decibel meter

Latin Dictionary. Not bad. However, it does not do English to Latin, I should have opted for a more expensive one that does that.

Hot Clock which is an alarm clock that features women’s voices to wake you up, it also has photos of some scantily clad young women.
